Locking pledges first thing Friday Morning: Aerodynes / ILR Vehicle / Protestors & Police Sets

Just a last reminder that we should be locking Backerkit in 8 hours time, in reality it will be first thing I do when I get into office tomorrow.

There are 3 sets of models that we put down as Backerkit stretch goals.

Goal 40 : backed for 19

Goal 40 : backed for 9

Goal 40: backed for 10

Realistically, it looks like these 3 kits are not going to get enough support to go into development at the moment unless there is a huge surge of interest over night. Therefore before we lock orders we will remove them from store, so backers will not get charged for them.

We do have a second scenario book and a whole host more miniatures, vehicles and terrain planned for a second Kickstarter in the Autumn, so these kits will certainly feature in that.

Locking pledges tommorow (31st January) and collecting in person / combining pledges

Just a quick reminder to the last 20, who have not completed there pledge details on Backerkit, we will be locking the pledges down tomorrow, so that we know how much of everything needs to be made, so even if you do not want to change anything in your pledge from the Kickstarter, please pop across and confirm your shipping and contact details as we can not dispatch anything to you without them!

A couple of backers have asked if they can collect there pledge in person, or combine with a friends to reduce courier cost. No problem, we always try to oblidge.

If you would like to collect your Albedo products in person from Sally  4th HQ in North Yorkshire, from us at a wargames show, or you would like  to combine your pledge with another backers to reduce courier cost, add  this product to your order. You will still be charged postage, but when  you collect in person or we work out cost of combined shipping we will  resolve and issue you with a refund. We need to do it this way round as  some times peoples plans change and in the end they need products  shipping and we do not know how much we can save on courier until we  know how many we are booking in together.

Albedo Combat Patrol Update - 5 Days until Pledges are locked.

Hello everyone. 

Here's a quick update on where we are with Backerkit / pledge management, Backerkit goals and plans for the future.

Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone again for their support through out the campaign and for everyone who have completed there pledges early an extra thanks.

Pledges

Pledges will be locked down in 5 days time, so that we know exactly what everyone wants and where it is to go to and how you want it to get there. At the moment 128 out 0f 155 backers or 82% have completed there pledge sheet, so there are just 27 backers still to complete there pledge on Backerkit. If you are one of the 27, you will have received an email from us, via Backerkit this afternoon with a link and details of what you need to do, so even if you do not want to change anything, please log onto Backerkit and confirm your shipping details.

Backerkit Stretch Goals:

There were 4 items that we wanted to make during the campaign that did not get funded during the Kickstarter and were set up as Backerkit stretch goals that we would make if there was enough support for them.

Toki - Backer target 40 - number backed 52 - She is definately in the campaign, in fact sculptor has just finished work on her.

Aerodyne: Backer target 40 - number backed 19

Police & Protestors: Backer target 40 - number backed 10

6 Wheeled ILR APC: Backer target 40 - number backed 9

It is looking unlikely that these 3 kits will reach the required number of backers (unless everyone is holding off backing them until pay day!)

If there is not enough support to design them as part of this campaign, they will be included in the second ACP164 Kickstarter which is scheduled for Autumn 2019 and will include a new campaign / scenario book plus additional models, vehicles and terrain.

We are committed to including civilians and security forces with non lethal weapons, so figures that would have been in the Police & Protestors box set will come through as reinforcement packs throughout the year as part of our monthly new release program.

....which brings me on to new releases. 

New Releases

ACP164 will be supported with new releases on a regular basis. We have a number of items sculpted already which did not feature in the Kickstarter which we will shortly start releasing as soon as they have been tested and painted. An example is this handy Combat Shotgun for the EDF.

Playtesting

Everyone whose pledge included a rule book will have had a download link for the beta version of the full ACP164 rules. We are really interested to hear your comments, feedback thoughts on the rules via the Albedo Patrol Forums.  http://albedopatrol.com/Forum/ so please let us have any comments as we are waiting until the end of February before moving rules into next stage of production to give you all a chance to feedback.

Here at Sally 4th HQ we are full speed ahead with Albedo Combat Patrol releases.

Great news, we are at 80% completion for pledges on Backerkit.

If you have not completed your pledge yet, please pop over and fill in the details. You need to do this even if you do not want to add any additional items as we need to confirm shipping address, telephone number, shipping method etc.

Beta / Playtest copy of full ACP164 rules has gone out to backers

I hope that you have all had a great Christmas and are looking forward to the new year.

We have been quietly working away over the last couple of weeks, new miniatures are being sculpted, printed and cast and work continues on the three books that form the key part of the first Albedo Miniatures game release.

We are now ready to share the beta / playtest draft of the full Albedo Combat Patrol rulebook. This has now been sent out to everyone whose pledge included a rulebook via backer kit.

Unlike the introductory rules, the full version of the rules has not been laid out at all at this stage. This is because January and February 2019 are allocated for play testing. We want you to start playing with this early copy of the rules, ask us about any areas that don't make sense, play some games, generate some armies and let us know what you think, so that we can refine the mechanics before the book goes into its final edit stage in March.
