Yesterday, we showed you the tough, ruthless, well equipped Special Assault Troops from the Independent Lapine Republic and observed that they all ways drew the toughest missions. As what was to become known as the 1st Lapine War dragged into Phase III, operations developed a more professional edge and a new type of force touched down on the battlefield and drew the toughest of the toughest assignments; The Airmobile Trooper had arrived.
The Light Aerial Reconnaissance Carrier (LARC) is available in 4 configurations:
A - Troopship
B - Gunship
C- Command & Control
D - Medivac
You can add individual LARC's or Air Assault Squads or Platoons to your pledge, just by increasing your pledge by the relevant amount.

Hello to everyone, we have had a bit of a break, as we have just got back from Crisis, where we were showing of our Albedo Miniatures and game to collectors and gamers from mainland Europe.
As Mike mentioned, while we were away we smashed the £12K mark, which enables us to get a 2nd sculpt done of Erma, this time in EDF Dress Uniform.
Also while we were away the sculpting team were working hard and have finished the base 'uniform sculpt' for the fearsome ILR Special Assault Troopers. These guys (oops, we mean rabbits) are the best trained, most motivated and fanatical troopers who get all the best gear, and draw all the toughest assignments.
This is an image of the base sculpt which then gets posed and weapons added. These are going to be tough units to face. We have them listed now to add to your pledge, over the next couple of days we will be adding a unit deal for Airmobile Special Assault together with transport and gunship VTOLs.
We are now down to the last 10 days of the campaign. We would love to be adding the ILR combat vehicles into the mix, which means we need to hit the £15K stretch goal, so if you have not shared details of the campaign for a couple of day, please spend 5 minutes on Social Media to share details of the game. If we each introduced one new backer to the campaign we would have no difficulty hitting every stretch goal, even the very secret ones that we have not revealed yet, but which are very, very iconic!
Use the hashtag #ACP164iscoming to get your post counted in the competition for the 'pro-painted' Erma model.

12K Stretch Goal smashed!

Hello again!
Over the weekend
we hit the £12,000
stretch goal, which means that the EDF Uniformed Erma Felna will be going into
production as part of the Kickstarter run!Great news.
We’ve also unlocked a character head – the ‘evil’ ILR
Colonel Amenenha – who will wear an eyepatch and a piercing stare. This character was proposed by a member of
the Facebook group – so hopefull we’ll do them justice…
Remember that we really want to hear about your toons! You can tell us about them on facebook or in
the ACP forum – the ones we really like have a good chance of being
immortalised in lead and/or incorporated in a source or campaign book in the
future.
The next stretch goal will introduce a running ILR Assault Trooper
and we’re getting very close to the ILR APC goal.
Tell your friends, lean on your relatives to buy you an
early Christmas present, and get the word out!

Going Underground - ILR attrocity avoided!

While I was over at Beasts of War, Justin and I got to try out the 'Gunpowder Plot' scenario from the Campaign Source book. Burrows End underground station is a terminus at one end of 'The Burrow' or Subway. The main platform lies underneath the main political administration building. The ruthless and calculating ILR have hijacked a train and packed one of the carriages full of explosives with the intention of detonating it to cause the collapse of the building above it and thereby cause political unrest and uncertainty. The explosives they are using are unstable so their engineers need to spend time when the train is stationary to rig the detonator's to the main charge.
This was a great game, it could have easily have become an ILR victory. At the start of the game Justin's tactics of getting every ILR resource not working on the bomb into a position to suppress the Home guard LMG team worked very well, but once the EDF Heavy Infantry arrived on the scene the engineers that were firing from the carriage started taking casualties and became stunned and eventually pinned. The game was a lot of fun, and the multi-level sub way station gave us lots of tactical options.
